Contrary to what we have heard from our own parents, snacks are actually very important for kids just as long as the snacks they eat are healthy. Kids burn energy throughout the day so healthy snacks provide them with the energy boost they need to keep them focused and emotionally stable to conquer the day. In other words, healthy snacks help manage your child’s hunger, helps boost their nutrition and keep older kids from overeating during meal times. Healthy snacks also provide your child with vitamins and minerals they may not otherwise be getting in their meals.

Most parents think that sugar foods and snacks are the cause or help enhance their child's ADHD but what they don't realize is that new studies have been showing that kids are not necessarily suffering from a sugar high but instead they are reacting to the chemicals and dyes in the actual foods! In other words, these food additives and preservatives could be having a direct effect on the behavior, health, and ability to learn for kids today.
Did you know that some food colorings are made from petroleum which is also the source for gasoline?
Vanillin, found in imitation vanilla flavored foods, comes from waste product of paper mills?
The Bee-Z Snack Shop can actually help kids with ADHD by having parents and care givers place healthy natural snacks in its pockets for kids to eat! Therefore, itgives the parents a place to place foods wit no additives or preservatives and in turn kids feel they are choosing what to snack on!
